TREND BOOK

This are tear sheets of a booklet I created last year of all the hot trends of the spring summer season. It took a lot of work to create all this outfits, but it's been one of my favorite projects so far, it's so much fun to think of an inspiration and see how many great looks you can come up with. It's always fun for me to play with clothes and mixing garments to create a cool and interesting image.

WHAT MAKES ME UNIQUE

I think the most important thing that would make me unique, is my experience, as I said I've been working on the fashion industry for several years and I've gotten to know how it works.  Definitely having the opportunity to live in Milan helped me to get more in touch with fashion, I know what I want to do for the rest of my life and studying in Milan helped me realize that I want to become a great fashion stylist and editor. I think I have a pretty good knowledge, thanks to all the different facets of fashion I've worked in. 

(fashion design, modeling, fashion styling, runway coach, event organization, public relations, photography, creative director)

This are some of my qualities, which I think would help me to accomplish my goals in life. I'm a very determined person, I always fight for what I want. I'm very responsible and independent, I'm so transparent, with me what you see is what you get. I don't like trouble, I'm a very relaxed and peaceful girl, I like being my self without worrying what other people might think.

HOW WOULD I SHARE IT WITH MY COMMUNITY

I think it's so important to get to share this amazing experience with my community, I don't think people form Mexico have the same access to the fashion industry as people from other countries and I think it would be amazing to get to write an article in spanish for all the mexican people to be able to understand it and get to know more about how the fashion weeks work.

I would be so happy to share  everything I see and learn at fashion week on my blog and translate it so people would get it and would be easier for them to relate with it. 

I think that if I do get the chance to be an style correspondent for ELLE, I would love to translate all my article into spanish and if there is the possibility, I would love to have the opportunity to publish it on the ELLE MEXICO magazine or web site, so I can share with my entire country the excitement I would feel from attending a NY fashion week.

Maybe it would be to much to ask, but it would be such an honor to be able to share my knowledge and experiences with the people of my community.
