MY PERSONAL STYLE

I would describe my style as a casual urban chic, I love to wear girly clothes, but I tend to change my style very often, I get bored of having one specific style, so I love to mix it up every once in a while, my style changes according to my every day mood.

Im a student so I always have to wear clothes that work for school  but at the same time show my personal style and reflect who I am. I tend to go for more casual looks, I don't follow an speficic trend, but I sure can't live with out accessories, I think they are the most important detail on every look, they give the last touch and can help to complement every outfit so you can take it from ordinary to a stand out.

I love using vintage stuff, I own a lot of vintage accessories that used to belong to my mother, she has always been a fashion addict as myself, so I'm very gratefull that she kept everything for me. My vintage collection has definitely became a key piece on my closet.

I love neutral colors, I think they are my basic clothes, but you always need to have some color that can cheer you up, I love having a variety of styles in my closet, you never know what you'll feel like wearing tomorrow.

This are some of my favorite personal outfits, which I have posted on my blog "According to me", where you can see more about my style and get to know a little bit more about me.

MY WORK

I have been working in the fashion industry since I was 16 years old, when I started modeling and later went to college to study fashion design, then I had the oportunity to study fashion styling at Marangoni in Milan and now I'm studying image design. I've also worked in pubic relations and envent organization.

I enjoy doing fashion photography so much, you have endless possibilities to create amazing images, with just finding the right kind of clothes or makeup you can reflect what ever you want.

This are some pictures that show my work as a stylist, it's what I enjoy the most, I love creating images and I think that trough photography you really can interpret and express anything you want, a picture says more than words and it can take fashion into another level.

My work as a stylist

This shoot's theme was to find a word that represent my personality, I choose the word spicy, which represent my culture and my style. I made a necklace out of peppers and use water to represent the sweat, that is usually caused by the spiciness and to make it look hotter. For the background, I made a collage of different labels from hot sauce bottles, I love the mix of colors and how they look together.

This shoot was inspired by Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld, I tried to resemble Karl's look, wearing a black suit wit some accessories that characterize his personal style.

This shoot was for the model's personal book, I wanted something simple to make her pop and don't let the over styling shine over her.

My work as photographer and stylist

The main purpose of this shoot was to capture the tension of the body so that we could create a sense of passion and drama, mixed with a sober yet sexy look, with a smokey eye and some cool black pieces that helped us accomplish our goal.

This is my latest work, on this shoot I was looking to get a lady like vibe with a bit of a 50s retro style, the main purpose of the styling was to let the accessories shine, so I used a lot of bold accessories and very feminine clothes.

I love my work and working on everything that has to do with fashion, either in front or behind the lens, I think I'm so lucky to have the opportunity to work in something that I'm so passionate about. I think my experience would help me to do a better job as a style correspondent, I know how this industry works and I'm so happy I get to be a part of it.
